Sherry Lin, CPA, CGA
Principal Practitioner




Sherry has diverse background, as she grew up in Taiwan, completed her degree of accounting in USA, and started her professional career in Canada.

Sherry passed AICPA exam under New York State in 1994. She later completed advanced courses with CGA Ontario and was admitted into memberships, of "Certified General Accountants’ Association of Canada" since 1998, and later of "Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada" since 2014.

Sherry started with BDO to focus on small to medium-sized business accounting and tax, then joined Burns Hubley (now KPMG) to focus on auditing in private enterprises and non-profit organizations. She developed fondness of working and helping clients at their business premises. In 1998, She took the opportunity to join a growing technology start-up company as chief accountant and personnel manager. For more than a decade, She was responsible in complete accounting cycles, tax and regulatory compliances, and ensured financing for take-on of new projects and expansions. She developed company policies that achieved administration efficiency, complied with employment standard and trained staff. The company grew from serving local businesses into serving multinational organizations.

She applies her over 20 years of management experience to benefit business owners and entrepreneurs. She is devoted and passionate about helping them to succeed.


John Ling
Technology Partner










With over 30 years in software development and business management, John provides expert management advice in information technology planning, development and implementation.

Prior to joining LINGIC, as a founder and President of a Canadian technology company for over 20 years, John led a team of technology experts to provide systems development, implementation and ongoing support for local and multi-national organizations. As an IBM business partner, John ensured in-house developed Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP and MRP), Freight Management System (FMS) and Multi-Currency Accounting (MAC) runs smoothly on IBM servers and provided customized turnkey solutions to manage customers' day-to-day mission critical operations for the Distribution, Manufacturing, and Freight Forwarder/Logistics industries.

Over the years, with focus in North America and Asia, John has successfully developed and implemented many small to large scale turnkey IT solutions, as well as rescued many failed IT projects in a timely manor. John has worked on software development projects with companies such as: Apple Inc., Nortel Networks Corporation, Snap-on Tools, Netgear Inc., Kingston Technology, Kroeger Inc., Dimerco Express, Kuehne+Nagel, Triumph Express Inc., etc...

In addition to education in Computer Sciences, John continuously builds his knowledge in Supply Chain Management & Logistics thru executive education and self learning. John's extensive hands-on experience in technology and management can help his clients successfully navigate complex IT projects, IT team building and IT management.
